DAY 1:Â ARRIVAL – ACCRA, GHANA
Your driver and guide will be at the airport waiting for your arrival at the Kotoka International airport. After going through immigration and customs, you will meet your driver and guide at the arrival area and transferred in a private A/C vehicle to your hotel in Accra. Check in at your hotel, relax and prepare for a memorable experience in Ghana.

DAY 2: ACCRA CITY TOUR
Breakfast in your hotel. Your experienced tour guide will give you orientation on what to expect whiles in Ghana to help you have a good experience. After the orientation by your tour guide, you will take a city tour of Accra, Ghana’s capital city.
Places to visit will include the W.E.B. DuBois former home, now a museum and Center for the study of Pan Africanism, drive through Flagstaff House, official residence and administrative offices of the president (Ghana’s Whitehouse) and drive past the Independence Square on our way to visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. Our last point of call will be a tour of Historic James Town—one of Accra’s most historic neighborhoods, where history resides on every corner. Best known for its lighthouses (the first of which was constructed in 1875 by the British) as a navigational aid for trading vessels sailing through the Gulf of Guinea. The original structure was ruined; however, a larger and more improved lighthouse completed in 1921 is still functioning today. James Town is also known as Ghana’s boxing incubator, the home of Africa’s most accomplished boxer, Azumah Nelson.

DAY 3: CAPE COAST AND VICINITY
Take a two-and-a-half-hour drive to Cape Coast after breakfast. Visit and have a guided tour of the Cape Coast Castle dungeons to learn about the fate and last moments of the men and women who were to be sent off as slaves to the Americas. The castle was where they spent their last days on African soil.
Continue to the Kakum National Park. The park has one of Africa’s famous rainforest canopy walkways. This tropical rainforest and the canopy walkway are sure to be one of the highlights of your time in Ghana. The walkway which consists of a series of 7 bridges, attached to 7 emerging trees, 40 meters above the rainforest floor will offer you an unforgettable experience. Prepare to take a deep breath as you walk the suspended bridges. You will marvel at the breathtaking views that stretch for miles across the rainforest as you rest on the tree platforms.
We are sure you will agree that this is an exciting excursion never to be forgotten. There is an option of 2km (1.2 miles) nature walk through the rainforest to discover the wide variety of exotic floral species and the medicinal value they offer.

DAY 4: ANKASA RAIN FOREST AND EGYAMBRA CROCODILE POND
After breakfast at your hotel, you will start your day with a visit to Egyambra crocodile pond. Here the crocodiles will be summoned by a local fetish priest. It’s such an awesome sight.
Continue to Ankasa Rain Forest, a wet evergreen forest with more than three hundred plant species in a single hector. Notable among the plant species are Makore, Dahoma and Khaya. If we are lucky, you may also see the bongo forest elephant, endangered Diana monkeys and West Africa Chimpanzee bird fauna which are rich with a record of 263 bird species. The Ankasa rain forest serves as shed for many streams and rivers.

DAY 5: NZULEZU VILLAGE ON STILT
After breakfast drive to Nzulezu village. The spectacular scenery of stilt propped water settlement of Nzulezu built on Lake Tadane located in the Jomoro District in the Western Region of Ghana stands out as a magnificent interplay between man and his environment. Nzulezu is an Nzema word meaning “surface of water.” The inhabitants of the village are said to have migrated from Walata, a city in ancient Ghana Empire’ the earliest of the Western Sudanese States. According to tradition, ancestors of the village were brought to their present place under the guide of a snail. The serene ambience of the surrounding landscape coupled with the general activities of life point to a dynamic relationship between man and nature.The village is a UNESCO Heritage site.

DAY 6: DAY AT THE BEACH
Have the day relax at the Beach. Your driver and guide will help you decide on the day’s activities.

DAY 7: BUSUA BEACH TO ACCRA
Return to Accra with stops at interesting sites including Fort Metal Cross. Depending on the time you arrive in Accra, you may have time for last minute shopping.

DAY 8: DEPARTURE
